Karen Chan

Chankalun is a visual storyteller whose mission is to keep the neon legacy alive. Having trained under a 70-year old local neon master in Hong Kong and with other neon artists globally, she is the only active female neon practitioner pushing boundaries with her artistry in Hong Kong. Chankalun is passionate about giving a new lease of life to the dying art form of neon bending. Driven by the goal of preserving this visual language, she aims to be the bridge that connects this traditional craft with the new generation of artists.
